Ceremonial Matcha

Our production begins promptly at 8:30 AM Japan Standard Time, also our order cut-off time. Typically, we ship out orders during the afternoon of the second business day. In the United States, shipments usually arrive within 1.5 to 4 days based on previous performance. For more details, please refer to our Shipping Information page.

We use DHL for all product shipments. Once we ship your order, we'll send you an email with the tracking code so you can track your delivery status.

We offer free shipping for all of our products. To ensure the best taste and quality of our matcha, we recommend ordering smaller quantities more frequently due to its freshness.

Rest assured that there are no additional charges beyond what is displayed and paid online at the checkout. Depending on your country of residence, customs duties and taxes may not be displayed at checkout. In such cases, either the duties and taxes are included in the product price, or no duties and taxes are applicable. You won't have to pay additional customs duties or taxes when receiving your order.

Thick tea:

• 4g (0.14oz) matcha

The flavor of matcha is determined not only by the quality of the ingredients but also by its freshness. Since matcha gradually changes in quality once ground, the fresher it is from the time of manufacture, the less extraneous taste there is, and the more enjoyable it is to drink.

We grind each order individually upon receipt, typically ship out in about two business days, and deliver fresh matcha to customers worldwide by air. When the product arrives at your doorstep, it is only a few days since grinding. Please enjoy our exceptionally fresh matcha that even consumers in Japan may have yet to experience.

Matcha Direct is operated by TSUJI RIICHI HONTEN Co., LTD., a tea company in Kyoto with a history of over 160 years. We deliver freshly ground, high-quality matcha directly to customers worldwide. By doing this without intermediaries distributing our products in different countries, we can provide the same quality at a more attractive price.

The shelf life is six months from the date of manufacture.
The product will arrive at your doorstep 2 to 3 days after manufacturing.
