I'm amazed at how fresh this matcha is. I received it in Indiana, USA within just a couple days of milling. The scent is fresh like spring flowers. It has a very nice delicate sweet flavor. I sense no bitterness or astringency. It does have a good umami flavor. I taste a subtle hint of seaweed in the finish but no grassiness. Overall a very good matcha and the freshness is icing on the cake. I can't wait to try some of the blended ceremonial options as well. It's obvious that eith the price you won't be getting the absolute best ceremonial grade, but it is definitely smooth with nothing unpleasant and a nice bright green. Not deep green but veey bright. Perfect as an everyday especially if you use quite a lot. I usually use matcha every day in a latte or lemonade and I like to load up quite a lot of it, so this is absolutely perfect for that. For what you pay, definitely very satisfied.
