A simple microwave recipe that you can make with your kids.
Ingredients
-
Matcha powder: 6g (0.21oz)
-
Milk: 400ml (13.5oz)
-
Honey: 80g (2.8oz) (Granulated sugar can be used as a substitute)
-
Gelatin powder: 5g (0.18oz)
Directions
Soak the gelatin powder in a small amount of milk (taken from the 400ml).
In a microwave-safe container, combine the matcha powder, remaining milk, honey, and soaked gelatin. Mix well, then heat in the microwave for 1 minute.
Take it out, stir, and heat again for about 30 seconds.
Once it has cooled slightly, pour the mixture into ramekins. After they have cooled to room temperature, refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set.
For an added touch, you can drizzle matcha sauce (5g matcha powder, 10g granulated sugar, 15ml hot water) over the pudding.
Recipe Note
For a richer flavor, you can replace half of the milk with heavy cream.
