Red Bean & Rich Matcha Two-Tone Latte
A matcha latte layered with sweet azuki beans, reminiscent of zenzai. Enjoy by stirring it all together.
Recommended Matcha
Ingredients:
- Matcha powder: 1.7g (0.06oz)
- Sugar: 8.5g (0.3oz)
- Milk: 150ml (5oz)
- Sweetened azuki beans: 3 tablespoons
- Kinako (roasted soybean flour): to taste
Instructions:
- Warm 150ml of milk. Froth 50ml using a milk frother and set aside.
- In a separate container, mix the matcha powder and sugar with 100ml of the warmed milk until well combined.
- In a cup, place the sweetened azuki beans at the bottom, then pour the matcha milk mixture over them. Top with the frothed milk and sprinkle with kinako.
